Additional Information

The whole world has been turned upside down for the Bradley family.  Seven year old Sebastian had headaches that were feared to be migraines, but in reality it was much worse.  February 10th Seba started having not only the headaches, but pain behind his eyes.  Eli decided to take him to the emergency room now that this new symptom arose, despite having an appointment the next day at DENT Neurological Inst.  Before long the Suburban ER Doctor had the difficult news… it wasn't just headaches, there was a 5.8cm tumor in the Thalamus region of his brain.  Eli (Mom) and Seba were transported to Children’s Hospital of Buffalo.  Dad (Shane) met them there and the journey began.  February 12th pediatric neurosurgeon, Dr. Li preformed a craniotomy and removed 60% of the tumor.  Part of the tumor was poorly defined so he was cautious not to take too much.  The tumor was sent to pathology, and came back with the dreaded news; the tumor was a stage III/IV glioblastoma.
We are kindly asking for contributions for a benefit, (gift cards, baskets, etc) that will be held on Sunday June 12, 2016 to help to offset the expenses that Seba’s parents have and will endure on his path to recovery, (We are holding the Benefit at Akron Ale House, 15 Main St, Akron, NY 14001 on Sunday June, 12th .)  Both Eli and Shane have had to take unpaid leave from work at GEICO.  The family will need our continued support and prayers over the next several months.
