Former Sabre Brian Gionta Now A Boston Bruin

A former Buffalo Sabre and Rochester area native is headed to Boston.

If you watched the USA Men's Olympic ice hockey team, you noticed that Brian Gionta was also the captain of the team. Although the USA didn't get a medal, Brian Gionta will now have a different uniform.

Yesterday, after serving as Captain of the USA Olympic hockey team, Brian Gionta signed with the Bruins. Last night the Sabres dominated the Bruins winning four-to-one but Gionta wasn't on the ice.
