You remember the controversy about the Today Show and the drop in ratings attributed to Ann Curry, leading to Ann being unceremoniously dropped, replaced by Savannah Guthrie. Well the first week of Savannah's reign brought the Today Show in at number two to Good Morning America, now in the number one spot.

It is not my intention to "blame" Savannah, but we all know that Matt Lauer will accept no responsibility for the drop.

Ch. 7 here in Buffalo, an ABC affiliate, took a look behind the scenes at TV's new number one Morning show.
