A goldendoodle named Dozer is making headlines for joining in a half marathon to benefit cancer research.  The three-year-old pup was hanging out in his yard when more then 2,000 ran by his house.  Dozer must have wondered what the rush was.  He escaped through a hole in his invisible fence and joined the race.

Runners reported seeing Dozer at several points along the way, and he crossed the finish line at with a time of 2 hours and 14 minutes. Dozer's owner had no idea what had happened.  In fact, they were frantically searching for him until he returned home Monday morning with muddy feet and a limp.  Dozer's expected to be fine, and even received a medal and some dog treats from race organizers.
