Google Maps ‘Timeline’ Tracks Every Move You’ve Made

Big Brother. 1984. However you wanna look at it, our entire lives are being recorded and/or monitored some way, some how.

Great, now even your phone is watching you.

Google Maps is rolling out a really creepy (to me) feature called "Timeline"....It shows you exactly where you were on any day since you got your phone.

It was just released yesterday (7/22/15) so if yours hasn't updated on your Android device, it probably is available on the desktop, provided you're a Google/Google+ user.

This also includes you if you use your Gmail account for just about everything, as most of us do.

If you use Google photos, they're geotagged so they will also show up alongside the place you visited.

It should be noted that ONLY YOU can see your timeline (unless someone hacks you, of course) and you can (sort of) control what gets tracked.  Again, it's pretty new so I totally haven't mastered it yet, and frankly, probably never will....
