Google Street View Images Catch Robbery Suspects Three Years Later

I've seen some funny screen shots from Google Street View.

When I looked up the place I was living in Palm Springs on Street View, it caught my 84-year-old neighbor outside, with his shirt off, mowing the lawn.

I've never even seen the camera truck driving around, but others have. It amazes me that this all happened in recent memory. We can now see the world from our screen.

How far would robberies drop if Google Street View were in real-time? How far into an Orwellian world are we willing go to go?
