How many social networking sites do we need?  Google apparently thinks one more.  The folks at Google have introduced their answer to Facebook.  It's called "Google+" (Google Plus).  I'm debating whether to sign up for another site.  Facebook already keeps me connected with friends and even family.

Google is hoping how it's dealt with privacy and extensive controls over who you share information with will set its' social network apart.  Reuters reports the service revolves around a concept of “circles."  You can create as many circles as you like, for whatever categories you want: for example family, co-workers or friends.  To use Google+,  you'll have to create a Google profile.  Google requires that you use your real name and include a photo, the rest is up to you!  The site is only available right now to a limited number of people on a trial basis, but is expected to be open to the public soon.

What do you think?  Will you sign up for Google+?  I can't be sure just yet, we'll have to wait and see!
