According to a New York Times report, unnamed Google employees have stated that the rumored "Google glasses" will be hitting the market by the Holidays and will retail for between $250-600.The product is currently under development, said to be Android-based (obviously), work on both 3G and 4G networks, and include sensory equipment.

The new glasses are according to reports likely resemble the Oakley Thumps (pictured above). The glasses included a built-in low-resolution camera and on the software side will reportedly work with a large number of Google's services—including the Google cloud, Latitude, Goggles, and Maps—while displaying the information in a Heads-Up Display. The glasses are also not designed for constant wear (talk about a "distraction')...stay tuned!
