Governor Andrew Cuomo announced another part of his "2015 Opportunity Agenda" to help reform the justice system's treatment of minors. The eleventh part of Cuomo's 2015 Agenda outlined recommendations from the Commission on Youth, Public Safety and Justice. The Governor says he supports a series of recommendations, including increasing the age of juvenile jurisdictions to 18, and removing all minors from adult jails and prisons.

Cuomo's plan will need legislative approval.
