Millions of dollars in state funding is coming to several districts in New York State to support high quality Pre-K programs, and Western New York will be a recipient.

Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that $30-million has been awarded to thirty-four school districts to help increase the availability of Pre-Kindergarten classes for three and four year olds.

The Cheektowaga Central School District will receive $232,000 in funding, and the Niagara Falls Central School District will receive around $426,000.
