For most moms, Mother's Day ended at midnight Sunday. But if you're a mom over 35, the party has just begun!

According to The New 96.1/Joy-FM's calendar, this whole week is "35+ Mom's Week". It's a week designed to celebrate a fabulous era in momness [that's a word, right? I think it's a word...]! And, if memory serves me right, it was a great era for music and music videos. From the vast selection of music and images, I've picked three that not only have memorable videos, but also have made it into the Joy-FM playlist.

Let's kick off with the group at the top of the page, Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart, better known as Eurythmics:

Next, what may be Norway's only contribution to the rock world, A-Ha:

Finally, a remake of a 60's r&b classic in a way the original artists wouldn't recognize. Give it up for Soft Cell:

Just three songs that moms "35+" should remember, celebrate, and play for their children. After all, if it made an impression on you, it may do the same for them.

Did I pick the right three songs, or would you have made other picks? Express yourself, either here or on our Facebook page.
