Haunted Mansion For Sale in Albion NY

Halloween might be over, but if you're into scares year-round, you can own a real haunted mansion -- the Pillars Estate in Albion is listed for sale.

WGRZ reports, "The mansion, which was built just after the Civil War, is for sale for $499,000, which is down more than 50% from the list price of $1 million back a few years ago."

Current owner Tony McMurtrie is looking for a new caretaker for the Victorian home, and its otherworldly occupant.

According to WGRZ, McMurtie "believes the spirit of Mrs. Carr roams through the house. She was the primary caretaker of the home and wife to its original owner."

The Pillars Estate is a stop on the New York Haunted History Trail.
