Let's just be honest here:  breakups suck.  Whether you're the dumper or the dumpee, whether it's a romantic relationship or a friendship.  (Ugh, ever had to break up with your hairdresser??? Talk about GUILT!)

Friendship breakups are particularly tough, but this info may soften the blow.

A new study found that 95% of us think our friendships are mutual -- but HALF of your friends actually don't feel the same way about you.

Basically, you may think of someone as a good friend, but they think of you as an acquaintance.  Or, someone you consider an acquaintance doesn't like you at all.

As I mentioned before -- and this SUCKS, trust me, on EVERY level -- I am going through a breakup.  With this, comes the "loss" of the mutual friends/family we shared.  It effectively adds insult to injury.  It's not a ladylike term (as my mom would say), but it's the best word to describe it.  It just SUCKS.

So, have you ever had to break up with a friend?  If so, why?  What happened?

Crystal from Depew texted: I had to break up with a friend because she was my ex's sister and it turned out whatever I was telling her she was going back and telling him. With good reason I guess, considering she was his sister, but I had to end that friendship because it was causing nothing but problems.
