This isn't great news for the City of Buffalo. A study that covers various factors such as home value and poverty rate, puts Buffalo on the list of their worst cities.

According to the report done by 24/7 Wall Street, Buffalo is the #35 worst city and says that:

Based on a number of socioeconomic indicators, Buffalo is the worst city to live in in New York state and one of the worst in the country. Buffalo is one of just a handful of cities nationwide where the typical household earns less than $33,000 a year.

There has been a steady decline in population around the Buffalo area. It may not be the city that is driving people out of town. It could be the tax situation in New York that sends people packing. One thing is for sure, you can't beat the people in our area. Although our economic status may not be the best in the nation,  The City of Good Neighbors has to rank in the top tier on a list of hard working, generous populations.
