This time of year is great, even when it blows.  A High Wind Warning has been issued for Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Genesee, Wyoming, Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties until 11pm Tuesday night.

Winds can be as high as 40-55 MPH with gusts up to 60 MPH, and will be powerful enough to bring down tree limbs and power lines.  Now might be a good time to make sure all of your loose outdoor items are tied down.  We all got ahead of ourselves yesterday with the nice weather, so make sure your patio furniture is secured again.

It's also going to be a little wet.  A Flood Watch has been issued for all of western New York (except for the Southern Tier) Thursday through Saturday afternoon. On top of the rain we received over night and today, another 1.5" to 2.5" of rain Thursday and Friday may cause fast river rises.

So basically once the wind drys everything out, it will all get soaked again from the rain. Remember last Summer when we had the drought?  This is what we wanted, might as well enjoy it!
