Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton expressed her sympathy for Kanye West and Kim Kardashian in light of their recent trauma. Kim was robbed at gunpoint inside a Paris hotel room, which led to Kanye canceling the remainder of his set at the 2016 The Meadows Festival.

Clinton was asked about the robbery of Kim during an interview with Extra. The former Secretary of State said she was happy that no one got hurt.

"I felt really bad for her," Clinton said of the situation. "[Kanye] was in the middle of the concert and he ran offstage, bless his heart. I'm just glad nobody was hurt."

Kim was understandably shaken by the events as she was reportedly tied up and locked in a bathroom by five robbers on Sunday (Oct. 2). The armed thieves were able steal a ring worth about $4.5 million as well as a box containing up to $6.7 million worth of jewelry.

This scary incident forced Kanye and Kim to make some significant changes in their lives. The two have employed more security guards, and Kim has begun limiting her public appearances.

Kanye also had to reschedule some of the shows on his Saint Pablo Tour. Concerts scheduled for this week in Philadelphia (Oct. 4) and Detroit (Oct. 6) were moved to Dec. 13 and Dec. 22, respectively. The tour is scheduled to resume this Friday (Oct. 7) when Yeezy takes the stage in his hometown of Chicago.
