I'm about to blow your mind: People who drink shakes and do one sit up and swallow supermarket weight loss supplements probably didn't really lose weight with those methods. I know. Crazy, right?

To prove it, a personal trainer named Andrew Dixon PROVED you can take "before" and "after" pics inside of an hour and not have done a damn thing but clean yourself up a bit.

1. Take the pictures on a day when you're feeling bloated. Generally that's when you've been eating a lot of salt and carbs, and not drinking much water.

2. For the "before" picture, make sure you look DISHEVELED. If you're a man, make sure you're unshaven. Wear baggy shorts that don't fit right. Push out your gut. And use a bright flash on the camera pointed right at you.

3. Then, clean yourself up. Cut your hair, pull it back...even shave your head. The less hair, the better. Shave your chest, and your face, then do some push-ups, chin-ups and sit-ups. Drink some water. Pick shorts that are tighter and fit better. And use a little bronzer to look tan.

4. Tweak the lighting so there are shadows behind you. Overhead lighting accentuates your muscles. Put the camera at a slightly higher angle, and don't use a flash. Then suck in your gut, flex your abs, and take a photo.

Bing, bam, boom...a before and after shot, taken on the same day.
