How You Can Help Feed A Needy Family This Thanksgiving

Many of us will be sitting down to big turkey dinners with all the trimmings this Thursday, but there are those here in the Buffalo area who will have difficulty providing their families with a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. You can help  the New 96.1 Joy Fm put food on their tables this year. All it takes is five minutes and ten bucks.

The New 96.1 Joy Fm has teamed up with the Food Bank of Western New York to try to help those Buffalo area residents who may be experiencing tough times this holiday season. You can sponsor a family  for only ten-dollars and put a turkey on their table for Thanksgiving.

Just think of what your ten-dollars could mean to someone in need. A family celebration that includes a warm meal that translates into warm memories for years to come.

Anyone of us may find themselves down on their luck someday. It can happen to anybody. Wouldn't it be nice to sit down to a Thanksgiving meal with your family, knowing you've helped someone else enjoy the day as well? After all, isn't that what the season is all about?
