So today ~ Wednesday, May 6th ~ has officially been named National "Get Fit, Don't Sit" Day!

According to the American Diabetes Association, sitting in an office chair for more than 90-minutes at a time can slowly start to affect your health by increasing your risk of developing heart problems and diabetes.

A spokesperson for ADA suggests to have a walking meeting or standing during a conference call at work.
