One of Buffalo's historic grain elevators will now serve as the backdrop for one of our city's largest public art project.

The $1.3-million project titled, "Kaleidoscope" will be unveiled during a ceremony tonight featuring live music, speeches and a brief lesson about Buffalo's history as a major grain port.

According to the Buffalo News, the "Kaleidoscope" project will feature a 20-25 minute looped presentation representing the four seasons (one season each night) that will run from dusk til 11:00P.M.

Tonight's festivities will kick off at Canalside starting at 5:00P.M. with the light show starting at 6:30P.M.
