Sorry, Beliebers, but your main man Justin Bieber is not the most popular dude right now. Even Jon Bon Jovi is taking some pot shots at the teen heartthrob.

The 'Livin' on a Prayer' rocker, who is on tour in Europe, was questioned by the London Evening Standard (via Hollywood Life) about Bieber's chronic tardiness to his concerts. Boy, did Bon Jovi not hold back at all! He said, "Every generation has guys that do that, none of that is new. They run the risk of disrespecting their audience members who have worked hard to pay for their ticket, to give you the permission to take two or three hours of their lives – or in that kid’s case, 80 minutes of their lives."

So true! To pop stars and rock stars a like, a ticket worth $50 or $60 is an inconsequential amount of money, but to a 15 or 16-year-old kid that's hours of hard work -- all to see their idol in the living flesh!

But Bon Jovi was certainly not letting Justin Bieber off easily, continuing, "Do it once, you can be forgiven. Do it enough times and shame on you. They won’t have you back. Then it just becomes a cliche. It’s really not cool – you’re an a--hole. Go to f--kin’ work!"

Dang! Tell us how you really feel! Though we can understand where Bon Jovi is coming from (he has seemingly seen it all in the music business) many times an artist takes the stage a little later for various situations that are totally out of their control. Things get especially tricky when they are travelling between different countries (like Justin was on the international leg of his Believe tour) with lots of moving parts to coordinate to get the show on the road. Nevertheless, if it can be prevented, taking the stage on time is always a good look.

*Ahem* Rihanna, are you listening to Old Man Jovi as well?
