The former New York prison worker that aided David Sweat and Richard Matt with their escape was back in court on Monday.

Joyce Mitchell pleaded guilty to providing tools to Sweat and Matt, and also admitted that she agreed to be their getaway driver, but changed her mind at the last minute.

The 51-year-old had tears as she apologized to the court, and asked to be placed on house arrest. Judge Kevin Ryan denied Mitchell's request and told her that she "did a terrible thing."
