Congratulations To Joy FM’s September 2013 Teacher Of The Month, Mrs. Gawlik!

They do SO much for our kids...and Joy FM is rewarding their hard work! There's still time to nominate a special teacher for October!

Another BIG congratulations to our September Teacher of the Month, Mrs. Gawlik from St. Vincent de Paul.

Mrs. Gawlik was nominated by Julie Brostko. Her second grader, Jason, is in Mrs. Gawlik's class. Julie says:

Mrs. Gawlik truly cares about all of her children in her classroom. In the first week of school, she has contacted all of the parents with an update about grade 2. She has created an amazing newsletter for all of the parents as well as given information to further learning at home. She has attended the soccer game to see all of her kids play and has truly made every child feel welcome in her class. She in particular has made Jason feel welcome in grade 2 since he is new to the class. His former school closed, and she has made him feel very comfortable at the new school: St. Vincent's. I believe her dedication and hard work proves her an exemplar teacher and a kind individual. Please consider her a candidate for this great teacher award!

As a small token of our appreciation, Mrs. Gawlik received a $50 SpOt Coffee gift card and a pretty sweet Brother MFC-J430w InkJet All-In-One Wireless Printer/Scanner/Copier/Fax Machine, courtesy of Rapid Refill, for her classroom! Jason's class was also treated to a pizza party, delivered by Southgate Pizza, for the nomination!
