July 4th Fireworks Show In Western New York

Three cheers for the red, white and blue!

There are few things more summer-y than a good Fourth of July celebration, and of course, no celebration is complete without a fireworks show. If you’re looking for all the best spots to see those bombs bursting in air, this is the list for you.

Some of the displays will start as early as this Saturday, so check out the list for the shows nearest you!

Multiple Days

Ellicottville: Ellicottville Championship Rodeo

When: July 3 – 5
Where: Ellicottville Championship Rodeo
Time: Rodeo starts at 7 p.m., fireworks to follow afterwards
With over 350+ rodeo athletes, the fireworks aren’t the only spectacular show you’ll see. Gates open at 5 p.m. and the rodeo begins at 7 p.m. with fireworks to follow.

June 28

Clarence: Clarence Day in the Park

Where: Clarence Town Park
Time: 9:45 p.m.
With everything from exhibits to zip lining, there’s plenty to enjoy at the annual Independence Day celebration in the town of Clarence. The festivities start at 11 a.m. and will conclude with fireworks at about 9:45 p.m.

Collins: Liberty Fest

Where: Collins Town Park
Time: 9:45 p.m.
Spend the day at Collins’ Town Park for the Fourth Annual Liberty Fest. The festivities, which include everything from a Parents vs. Kids softball game to a street dance and magic show, will begin at 4:30 p.m. and conclude at 9:45 with a fireworks display courtesy of Skylighters of NY.

West Seneca

Where: Veterans Park (behind West Seneca Town Hall)
Time: Dusk

June 29

Sardinia: Chaffee-Sardinia Fire Company Annual Carnival

Where: Sardinia Town Park
Time: 10 p.m.
On the third and final day of the Chaffee-Sardinia Fire Company Annual Carnival, stay for the day and wrap up the night with a grand fireworks and ground display.

July 3

Allegany State Park

Where: Quaker Area Beach
Time: Dusk
Bring your lawn chairs to Quaker Beach in Allegany State Park for an evening of food, fun and fireworks.
 

Buffalo: Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra & Chorus, Fireworks and the Buffalo Bisons

Where: Coca-Cola Field, Buffalo
Time: Starts at 6:05
After the Bisons take on the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, join the 20th Independence Eve Celebration with a post-game performance from the Buffalo Philharmonic and Chorus and a fireworks show.

East Aurora: Independence Day Celebration

Where: Hamlin Park, East Aurora
Time: 10 p.m.
Fireworks will conclude a full day of music, entertainment and family fun at the Town of Aurora’s Independence Day 2014 community celebration. Rain date for the fireworks is July 4 (all other activities will be cancelled).

Little Valley: Freedom Daze Spectacular

Where: Little Valley Speedway
Time: Race at 7 p.m., fireworks following
Celebrate the holiday with a little more horsepower. Come down to the races and stay afterwards for a fireworks display.

Olcott

Where: Krull Park, Olcott
Time: 10 p.m.

Silver Creek

Where: George Borrello Park (Foot of Jackson Street)
Time: Dusk

Tonawanda: Independence Day Ceremony and Fireworks

Where: Kenney Field
Time: Dusk
Come to the Town of Tonawanda Independence Day celebration, featuring ceremony honoring Korean War veterans, a concert by the American Legion Band of the Tonawandas and a fireworks display at dusk. Rain date for the fireworks will be July 5.

July 4

Amherst: Fireworks at University at Buffalo

Where: Lake LaSalle at UB’s North Campus, Amherst
Time: Fireworks at 10 p.m.
Entertainment by a Dixieland band and The Erie County Wind Ensemble will begin at 7 p.m. and last until the fireworks display.

Buffalo: Annual Fourth of July Celebration at Canalside

Where: Canalside
Time: Fireworks at 10 p.m.
Enjoy a full day of family activities out at Canalside, concluding with a fireworks display.

Cheektowaga: Fourth of July Celebration

Where: Cheektowaga Town Park, Cheektowaga
Time: Fireworks at dusk
Following the Fourth of July parade, enjoy concerts and activities all day in Town Park. The celebration will end with a fireworks display at dusk.

Clarence: HollowFest

Where: Clarence Town Park
Time: Dusk
As part of Town of Clarence’s three-day HollowFest, celebrate Independence Day with a fair and fireworks show presented by the Clarence Hollow Association.

Dunkirk: Independence Day Celebration

Where: Memorial Park
Time: Fireworks at 10 p.m.
Spend the day at Memorial Park for live music, food vendors and a great view of the lake. Fireworks will follow at 10 p.m.

Elma

Where: EMW Boys and Girls Club
Time: Dusk
Park across the street at Iroquois High School and enjoy Elma’s annual fireworks display. Rain date is July 5.

Grand Island

Where: Martin’s Fantasy Island
Time: 9 p.m.
After the annual Dick Bessel Independence Day Run, Kids Run and Parade, fireworks will be heald at Martin’s Fantasy Island at dusk. Grand Island residents may enter the park at 9 p.m. with proof of residence, but anyone may purchase discounted admission for the whole day for special activities.

Lakewood: Summerfest

Where: Hartley Park/Lakewood Beach
Time: 10 p.m.
Celebrate the holiday with a fireworks display after a day-long celebration with street vendors, live music and food galore.

Lancaster: Independence Days

Where: Save-A-Lot Parking Lot
Time: Fireworks at 10 p.m.
As part of Lancaster’s Independence Days, enjoy a full day of music, food and entertainment, plus a fireworks display at 10 p.m.

Lewiston

Where: Plateau Park, Lewiston
Time: 9:45 p.m.

Little Valley: Freedom Daze Demolition Derby

Where: Little Valley Speedway
Time: Race at 7 p.m., fireworks following
Celebrate the holiday with a little more horsepower. Come down to the Little Valley Speedway Demolition Derby and stay afterwards for a fireworks spectacular.

Lockport

Where: Outwater Park
Time: 9:30 p.m.

Mayville: Fourth of July Celebration

Where: Lakeside Park
Time: Fireworks at 10 p.m.
Kicking off at 10 a.m. with a parade, come celebrate the Fourth of July at Lakeside Park with activities, events, food and live music. A fireworks display and the annual tradition of flares around the lake will conclude the evening.

Niagara Falls: Independence Day Fireworks Over The Falls

Where: Prospect Point
Time: 10 p.m.
Coming from the Canadian side of the Falls, this spectacular display can best be seen on the U.S. side at Prospect Point or the Rainbow Bridge.

Niagara Falls

Where: Sal Maglie Stadium
Time: 9:45 p.m.
Rain date on July 5.

North Tonawanda/Tonawanda

Where: Tonawanda Island, North Tonawanda
Time: Dusk
In a joint cities celebration, come down to Niawanda Park for live music by the Sugar & Jazz Orchestra, followed by fireworks.

Orchard Park

Where: Orchard Park Middle School
Time: 9:30 p.m.
Following the 8 p.m. parade, watch the fireworks at the pavilion behind the Middle School.

Royalton

Where: Royalton Ravine Park
Time: 10 p.m.

Salamanca

Where: Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel
Time: Dusk

July 5th

Ellicottville: Summer Festival

Where: Holiday Valley
Time: Dusk
On the second day of Summer Festival 2014, spend the day at Holiday Valley and wrap up the night with a performance by the Buffalo Philharmonic and fireworks.

Niagara Falls

Where: Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel
Time: 9:40 p.m.
End the holiday celebrations the right way with a spectacular fireworks display at Niagara Falls. Rain date is July 6.
