Kali The Polar Bear To Stay At Buffalo Zoo Through 2015

The polar bear exhibit will be completed with additional funding as well.  

We have his friend Luna to partially thank for that.

A polar bear expert visited Buffalo and suggested that Kali stay longer because a few months of socializing with Luna was not long enough. So Kali will be staying until at least the spring of 2015.

The plan has been to keep Kali until the St. Louis Zoo was ready for him with their new exhibit, but the hope is that the Buffalo Zoo could keep him here permanently...and that he could eventually breed with Luna.
