Kate Spade Found Dead This Morning

Designer Kate Spade was found dead this morning.

She was found in her her apartment after she hung herself this morning with a scarf. Spade is known for the popular handbags and jewelry pieces deigned with the company she formed with her husband Andy in 1993. The company bought out rival Coach a few years ago.

Spade is the latest celebrity who has taken their own life and as Ivanka Trump reminds us: "painful reminder that we never truly know another’s pain or the burden they carry".

She leaves behind her husband of 24 years and her 13 year old daughter.
