Sometimes it takes an "oops" moment for you to realize why you had an "oops" moment.

I was on my way to lunch today waiting for the elevator and checking my phone.  I kept scrolling through things until I had my moment: I hadn't even pushed the down button for the elevator because I was so busy on my phone. I'm so addicted.

People used to complain about kids being addicted to TV.  Not the case anymore.  Sure, my kids watch TV, but they spend most of their time on a tablet or iPod.

It's strange to come downstairs to silence with both kids sitting on the couch.  Why isn't the TV on?  They now spend a lot of time playing and "learning" on a mobile device.

TV has now taken a backseat.  What would we do without our mobile devices?!
