Kotex Recalls Tampons That Could Come Apart

Kotex is recalling some of their tampons because the product could come apart inside the body.

WIVB reports, "The company has also received "a small number of reports of infections, vaginal irritation, localized vaginal injury, and other symptoms" from its use."

The defective tampons are the U by Kotex Sleek Tampons (regular absorbency) manufactured between Oct. 7, 2016, and Oct. 16, 2018 and distributed through Oct. 23. You can check the product numbers at the company's website here.
