Another season, another judge change on The X Factor.

L A Reid told Access Hollywood that the current season will be his last. Reid says there's no hard feelings between show creator/judge Simon Cowell and himself. It's just that L A feels he's let things drift at his day job - chairman and CEO of Epic Records.

“It was a nice break, it was a nice departure from what I’ve done for the past 20 years, but now I gotta go back to work.”

Reid says he enjoyed his two years on the singing competition, and that the experience taught him a few things about how television works.

When asked who should take over his chair, Reid noted he had no say over the decision, but hoped it would be Jon Bon Jovi.
