The Lackawanna man who was taken into police custody on Wednesday is heading back to court today.

Arafat Nagi, 44, will appear before a judge today on charges of attempting to provide material support to ISIS. He has been on the FBI watch list since 2001.

Nagi's defense attorney plans to fight for his client to be released on bail during today's court process, however, Prosecutor Joseph Trippi stated that Nagi is a flight risk and a danger to the community.

If convicted, Arafat Nagi could face up to fifteen years in prison and/or a $250-thousand fine.
