Today (June 26), the Supreme Court of the United States struck down the Defense of Marriage Act and Proposition 8. Essentially, this gives gay couples the same privileges that straight couples enjoy -- like shared medical benefits, joint tax returns and more fun stuff like that.

Celebs like Lady Gaga, Adam Lambert and Kelly Clarkson all tweeted their joy over the Supreme Court's ruling in favor of LGBTQ rights. Lady Gaga has been very vocal in her support of equal rights since the beginning of her career, so of course she took to Twitter to praise the Supreme Court.

Kelly Clarkson has been a long time supporter of gay rights, and we're sure her new track 'Tie It Up' will appeal to more than just straight couples now! Adam Lambert, a very vocal personality in the gay community, was obviously elated at the decision and as a gay man himself, he should be!

Macklemore is another celeb who has made no bones about supporting the equal rights for all American citizens. His track 'Same Love' examines stereotypes and whether there's a place for homosexuality in hip-hop.

Though, leave it to 'Glee' star Chris Colfer to not only celebrate, but do so with a sharp and witty sense of humor.
