According to the National Weather Service, a Flood Watch is in effect for the Lake Ontario shore of Niagara, Orleans, and Monroe counties from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning.

The high lake levels combined with intense wind will potentially cause waves that flood the shoreline and erosion.  So basically the wind is the main culprit here.  After this past week I feel like we should just build a huge wind farm and have free power in WNY forever.

If you are in the affected areas make sure you take the proper precautions.  If you're not, start working on those turbines!
