Lancaster Police Warn of Recent Bicycle Thefts

The Lancaster Police Department has posted a warning on their Facebook page regarding a recent number of incidents involving bicycle thefts.

According to the Lancaster Police Department, the thefts occurred in the Village of Lancaster, in the area of Lake and Church streets.

They offer the following advice to residents:

- Make sure that your garage door is closed and locked
- Close and lock any outside man doors or windows to the garage
- Consider covering or frosting any windows in the garage, so a potential thief cannot see what is inside
- Don't leave your garage remote opener in plain view in your car
- Always lock the entry door between the garage and your house  -Lancaster Police Department
