Laura’s First ‘Sip-N-Paint’ Tragedy (Not Really) [PHOTOS]

I've been trying to keep myself busy lately as I deal with some stuff in my personal life that isn't going that great. Wanting to open myself to something new (other than adult coloring), I was invited to someone's "sip-n-paint" event.

If you've never heard of them, it's basically where you learn to paint a certain picture on a canvas while you sip wine. Each event is a little different, some in homes, some in restaurants or bars...some BYOB, some it's provided.

As you probably know by now, I don't always "color inside the lines"...I've been known to march to the beat of my own drummer. My friend, Maria, is much the same way.  SO when we saw what the picture was SUPPOSED to look like, we decided to go rogue.

I decided I didn't like palm trees. Or sunsets. So I did a beach and a moon.

Maria was a little more "sinister" in her creation...and went with a Titanic theme. She was sure to get Jack in the lower left, Rose floating on the door above him, and the Heart of the Ocean on the lower right.  Sick and twisted, but creative! ;)

A good time was had by all.  Well, except the stick figures.
