Letchworth State Park – Ranked #1

A USA Today poll has ranked Letchworth State Park as the #1 best park in the country.

Letchworth has been nicknamed the "Grand Canyon of the East" and features the Genesee River that runs over three major waterfalls.

Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park in Michigan ranked #2 on the list, and Watkins Glen State Park in the Finger Lakes came in third place. Overall, twenty state parks were nominated from the list of more than six-thousand that were considered.
