Let’s Haiku This Weather Away
Since I doubt your planning on an outdoor picnic this week, how about a wee bit of Haiku? Yep, today is National Haiku day.
Now, most of us remember it as some odd poetry assignment our middle school teacher gave us. But, many people think it's meditative; and with this challenging weather, maybe we can Haiku the weather away.
So, Haiku is a poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven and five. A 9th century style of Japanese poetry, that might just help you beat the winter blahs. What do you think of my effort?
Cozy, snuggle, indoor play
