Lewiston-Queenston Bridge Is Getting A $50-Million Facelift

You say there are delays at the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge? Really? Is that why people hesitate to cross??? Good News - The bridge is getting a facelift!!!

A $50-million modernization project will help cut down on wait times by adding new lanes to the bride. In fact, all the of the lanes will be redone with three new car lanes, two new truck lane, and a new bus lane.

The project will also include a new administration building and expanding parking.

Senator Chuck Schumer made the big announcement on Tuesday, and the U.S. General Services Administration gave the green light.

Construction for the Lewiston-Queenston modernization project is set to begin in the Spring of 2017, and completed by 2020.

The project will bring 1,200 new local construction jobs to the area.
