Ok,  I get it. You know what a library looks like! Maybe not my most creative post for the Moms of Buffalo but be honest – when is the last time you took your kid to a library?

So back in the day I used to take my son Derek ALL the time. Like every story time I would make sure he was at from age two to five! I used to have it all planned out – certain days at the Clearfield Library (where these pictures are from), the Williamsville Library on Main Street and the Audubon Library (biggest by far) depending on when story time was.

Well now my son is more about the computers, but until last night I didn't realize how long it had been since we went. I had to renew his library card because it expired in 2014!

Ok, truth be told we had an Amherst Youth basketball game next door and needed to kill some time after eating dinner at LaPorta's, but still it was fun!

He spent an hour playing Poptropica, I read a book about coach Phil Jackson (well, some of it I read) and it reminded me of how much fun we had going when he was a kid!

He doesn't let me read him Clifford on those chairs by the window like he used to (check out the picture), but it did make me think it would be a good idea to remind Moms that if you need to kill two hours in this cold weather – hitting up your local library would be a good idea!
