Macklemore Teams Up With Sesame Street For Muppet Version of ‘Thrift Shop’ [VIDEO]

It looks like Macklemore has teamed up with Sesame Street to create a kid-friendly and muppet-infused video for his song 'Thrift Shop.' The video shows Macklemore and some muppets hanging out and singing about garbage, to the tune of 'Thrift Shop.'

Macklemore can be seen in his best thrift shop attire singing things like: "One grouch's trash / It's another grouch's outfit" and "I wear my grouchy clothes / I look deplorable," which is a great way to teach kids advanced vocabulary words like 'deplorable' that we're assuming they wouldn't learn otherwise -- at least not that young, anyway.

Our favorite part of the video? It's nearly impossible to choose just one stand-out moment, but the black-and-white scene where Macklemore first arrives, and the grouches are throwing trash at him is pretty great. Then there's the severe close-up of Macklemore's face while he's rapping along with the grouches. Also his sunglasses, nay, his entire wardrobe, is pretty on point.
