Mix 96 Takes The Lemon Face Challenge

We love taking social media challenges especially when they can raise awareness in the battle against childhood cancer!

Remeber when in 2014 the "Ice Bucket" challenge was all the rage on social media and people donated to help fight ALS. That challenge raised over $115 million for research.

Well, there is a new social media challenge out there trying to raise funds and awareness of diffuse intrinsic pontine gliomas or know as DIPG. This form of cancer is found in the brainstem and it mostly affects children aged 5 to 9 years old.

Rob, Melody and I decided to take the challenge and "challenge" several other people in the area! We are looking at you Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bisons, Patrick Hammer from WGRZ and the whole WGRZ news team! Oh....we also challenge all the Mix 96 listeners too!!!
