A woman in Ireland just made it into the Guinness Book of World Records...by accident.

She had twins 87 days apart! Doctors are calling it "equivalent to winning the lottery."

Maria Jones-Elliott, 34, knew that she was about to have twins. She went into labor four months early on June 1, 2012. She gave birth to daughter Amy, who was just 1 pound, 3 ounces. As soon as Amy was born, Maris stopped having contractions completely.

Jones-Elliot stayed at the Waterford Regional Hospital for 87 days until Amy's twin, Katie, decided to come on out. According to FOX:

Unsuccessful attempts to induce labor again after Amy was born were made, but Jones-Elliott and her husband, Chris, decided to wait it out and let their second daughter arrive naturally. It was a tough choice for the couple, as health complications could arise from inducing labor or waiting it out.

The pregnancy was going smooth until about 24 weeks in, Maria says.

I started feeling unwell at work and I felt extreme pressure on my abdomen but I thought that must be normal because I was having twins. I was worried enough to get an appointment at my GP who told me to go straight to the hospital to my horror when I got there hours later, my water broke.

Well, luckily for Maria and the whole family, the girls are doing great and are healthy!!
