A mom recently wrote this letter to her 13-year-old son, calling his bluff. And it WORKED.

Estella Havisham's son told her to stop telling him what to do (he hadn't done his homework but didn't want to be treated like a child).

He makes a few bucks off a YouTube channel, so he made a comment about how "at least ONE of us is making money".  Estella isn't working right now because of health issues, so she wrote him a letter saying she AGREED.

She says in the letter if he wanted to be treated like an adult, he'd have to start paying room and board.

She says after reading the letter, he apologized, and she never actually charged him

She says it was more about gratitude and making him realize that being an adult is a LOT harder than being a kid.

He's been doing his chores again.

Have you ever called a bluff on your kid, and it worked???
