Well Mom's I wont' write too much here I will let the pictures tell the story! This is one of those 'put on your 2016 calendar' cause you can't do until later in the year. I can tell you I have taken my son Derek since he was 5 and he LOVES going every year. Adventure Calls is the company - they do some rides at Zoar Valley but the pictures above are from the Letchworth State Park run they do on the Genesee River. It's easy but not TOO easy if you know what I mean for kids 5 and up.

The views are spectacular as you look up from the river at the so called Grand Canyon of the East. The guides are great, and if there are any issues there is always 1 in front of you and in back of you. They stop 2 times, both of those in pictures above. The second stop is a spectacular waterfall you stand under with a swimming hole you can jump in! We usually go in October despite the water being colder because as you can guess the views with leaves changing color is amazing.

You can go anytime in 2016 from April 2-October 30 on Sat and Sun $40 per person plus $7 for a wetsuit (I never get it I like getting wet). They run Tuesday-Friday from June 21-September 2 (10:30 only) so you can go with kids when they are off school! The trip last about 3 hours and they also give you free cookies when you get back! It's like $8 for the car to get INTO the park as well. I am not doing to tell you how to get to Letchworth I'm sure you can figure it out! Take 20a East the park has several entrances and it takes almost exactly 1 hour to get there. It is AWESOME! Trust me Mom's!
