This is not the way you expect to see a race come to an end.

Finnish biker Niklas Ajo managed to stop himself from falling off his bike during the Dutch Grand Prix over the weekend and crossed the finish line on his knees while lugging his motorcycle.

Ajo looked like he was about to fall off the bike after a tight turn, but he managed to barely hang on as his bike went off the track.

He avoided injury and said he only did what he did to avoid hitting a wall, potentially mangling the bike -- and himself -- in the process.

Ajo was eyeing a top 10 finish when the near-crash took place. After all was said and done, he coasted along to 17th place.
