Just hearing the theme song for E.T. makes me tear up...but it's one movie I think ANY kid today should see.

It teaches so much -- curiosity, empathy, loss, friendship, love...

  3. An American Tail, 1986
  4. The Fox and the Hound, 1981

For Kids 8 And Up:

  1. The Princess Bride, 1987
  2. War Games, 1983
  3. Beetlejuice, 1988
  4. Gremlins, 1984

My old cohost used to say he couldn't wait for his sons to be old enough for them to watch Caddyshack together. THAT's a good dad! :) Sharing the classics is important!
