The former Amherst woman who is accused in a murder-for-hire plot was arraigned in court on Wednesday.

Debra Arno entered a not-guilty plea to federal charges stating that she hired an assassin to kill her ex-husband, his new wife and their daughter.

The presiding judge ordered that Debbie Arno undergo a psychological evaluation because she may be suffering from a post-traumatic stress disorder that stems from a childhood car accident.

New York State prosecutors have also charged Lauren Frye, the accused assassin, after police raided her Elmwood Avenue home and discovered three shotguns, cell phones and other documents including a home diagram and photos of the intended victims.
