I spent a lot of time at Niawanda Park this summer.  It was such a beautiful summer....my bike rides almost always started there...and a kind of evening ritual often ended there too:  catching the beautiful sunsets (pictures below).

Sometimes I sat and meditated. Sometimes I wrote. Sometimes I enjoyed conversation with a special someone.  Most times, though, I was listening to music, and one song in particular ALWAYS was on the soundtrack, and it's poignant today, after we've learned of the death of Leonard Cohen.

Cohen's song, "Hallelujah", is simply beautiful.  His original version is striking.

Yet, my very favorite version was released in 1994 by the incredible Jeff Buckley.

Take 7 minutes to yourself, plug in your headphones, and listen to this.  It literally speaks to my soul.

Here are just a FEW (I literally have hundreds!) of the pics I took this summer between July and the end of September...
