"Here we go, one more time, everybody's feeling fine ..." We can't help but be a little (a lot) excited because 'N Sync just dropped huge news!

Yesterday (Feb. 14), the band's official Twitter account tweeted, "'Together again... Gee, it's good to be together again' #SNL40." Yep, that actually happened!

While that's pretty much the only information we have, we can make some inferences. It looks like all five members of the band will appear during the 'Saturday Night Live' 40th anniversary special tonight.

But for 'N Syncers looking forward to hearing "Bye Bye Bye" live in all of its glory -- that's not going to happen tonight. Lance Bass confirmed that the band will not be singing, writing on his Facebook, "No performance, but can't wait to see this show!"

It also looks as if 'N SYNC's reunion will be kept strictly to the red carpet, and not the famous SNL stage. Lance also retweeted a fan who acknowledged that the band will be sitting in the audience. Womp.

However, that doesn't mean that one 'N Sync member won't be making a cameo in a skit. Justin Timberlake was photographed doing some undisclosed behind the scenes preparation. Hmmm ....

Of course, any 'N Sync fan worth his or her signed copy of No Strings Attached remembers that the band epically reunited at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards when Justin Timberlake was honored with the Video Vanguard Award. The performance (rightfully) whipped fans into a Twitter frenzy -- a phenomenon that most likely won't be happening again tonight.

But for the record -- we'll take an 'N Sync reunion whenever they want.
