A CVS brand nasal spray is the subject of a voluntary recall, as manufacturers have said the affected products may be contaminated with Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria, according to WGRZ.

WGRZ reports the affected product, "0.5-ounce bottles of CVS Health 12 Hour Sinus Relief Nasal Mist (Lot# 173089J)," contains a micro bacteria that "could be deadly to people with certain conditions."

The Food and Drug Administration claims that repeated use of the product "can potentially lead to colonization and subsequent infection which can be life-threatening in certain patient populations, such as those with cystic fibrosis or immuno-compromised."

The FDA's information page about the recall is located here.
