National Weather Service Issues Heat Safety Tips For Upcoming WNY Heat Wave

No matter what channel, every forecast says the same thing -- heat wave.

With temperatures expected to easily be above 90 degrees, Buffalo will likely break some weather records this weekend.

And as good as we are at handling the extreme weather in winter, Buffalonians may not be as well-prepared for this weekend's heat.

The National Weather Service has shared some important heat safety tips.

According to Ready.gov, "Extreme Heat often results in the highest number of annual deaths among all weather-related hazards."
